Hi I am trying to find any scrap of info about my dad and his family. My dads name is Roland Edwin James Smith, his dads name was Roland Smith who married Edna ? they had 5 kids , Billy, Ricky, Ian, Roland and Jane. My grandad 'Big Roly' was a romany gypsy in the west midlands, birmingham, solihull area. He used to work in a metal engineering? place opposite Lode Heath School in solihull he had an accident whilst working and died around about 20 yrs ago ish. Please help if you can, many thanks Nicola

Welcome to the boards, Daniel.

Unfortunately, it's many years since Nicola posted that message, and she isn't likely to be looking for replies here now.

You can try sending her a private message (click on her name at the top of her post).
GR will send her notification that she has a message from you, to the email address she registered with them.
If she still uses that address, she may read your message and reply.

Nichola only posted a few times and you have picked up a thread that's is 10 years old
It's highly unlikey she is a member,now so won't see your response

You could try and make contact by clicking on her name and sending a message

If she still has the same email address she will receive it and can then reply . As a non member she can't initiate a message but can respond to one sent to her
