Trying to find James Vallins father of Henry Vallins born 1813 in Halstead Kent: I have Henry's marriage cert which gives James as his father but can not match a James to him: Any one out there who can help: I have one possible James Born 1778 St Mary Cray Kent but can not prove a connection:

This is a new post but refers to an old one of 27th Oct 2008:
If any of you lovely people out there can help: I have now found the two people that I was looking for i.e. parents of Henry Vallins b1814 died 1891 Halstead Kent : They are James Vallans and Susanna Golding married 10 Mar 1811 Strood Kent:
I have all the details that I need on Susanna Birth Baptism 2 Marriages and Death:
I can not find James Birth or Death Susanna was born 1790 so assume James to be around that time: James died about 1813 to 1815 as he was dead when Susanna married for the second time in July 1815:
James surname could be spelt Vallins Vallans Valens Vollins Follins or Follings at his birth:

You say Henry's father was James.

But his christening record, posted above by Sylvia in 2008, says his father was John.

Why do you think his father was James, please?

Is the record posted by Sylvia of a different Henry , born same year, same place?

Have now read your opening post in 2008, where you say Henry's father was named as James on his marriage cert.
