Belchers from Limerick Ireland

John Belcher born c1832 in Limerick Ireland, his father may have been James.
John's son Ernest Belcher married Elizabeth O'Donnell also from Limerick in Ireland in 1855. John had a nephew William O'Donnell also from Limerick in Ireland, recorded visiting John and family in in London in 1881.
Can anyone shed light on the connections between the Belcher family originally from Limerick and the O'Donnell family. The Belchers were tailors by trade.

Isnt the marriage betwen Ernest and Elizabeth the connection?

The marriage between Elizabeth and Ernest in 1885 ( not 1855) is one connection, but Ernest's father John has a nephew William O'Donnell age 18 in 1881. So one of John's sisters possibly married an O'Donnell - AND his son Ernest married Elizabeth O'Donnell from the same town ( ie. Limerick). I am trying to trace information about John's brothers and sisters or parents who I presume were all born in Limerick.

Well I cannot see John on the 1881 Census...where exactly is he living...?
The Belchers as you say were Tailors and James Belcher..(Possibly Bro.of John) had tailoring business at 37 George St (1867) then at 45 Thomas St. (1870) Limerick

It looks like you may have found the right Belcher family in Limerick . Do you have any more information?
John Belcher born in Limerick in around 1832 is found on the following census in London:
1871 : 40 Hoxton Square. Shoreditch.
1881: 49, Grove road, Islington, + nephew William O'Donnell age 18
