I've just checked the 1861 image on FMP (the one Kath posted) and it does say 'Ireland', not Scotland! |

Thank you sorry for delay Genes wouldn't let me on?? Big difference in Ireland and Scotland for James ancestry has him born in Ireland It must be the same family even though their ages haven't altered in 10 years but for the children |

Is it a member of your Turner family that you are looking for? There are quite a lot of Turners (119) on the 1861 census in Chorlton upon Medlock. |
