Your best bet will be to buy the death cert of Evelyn ( birth date matches that given on the 1939 register) to see if John was the informant. |

Is it John M for sure though? or just John...as both have same mmn and both are Leicester registration. You may well need to buy the birth cert to double check parent's names. |

Hi I know they had a son called John Taylor as he is mentioned in a newspaper article I have - there is a picture of Charles on it and it states they are moving from Blaby in Leicestershire to manage a pub and he has one son called John. I ordered the marriage certificate and Charles married to Evelyn Chapman like what was suggested and it was correct. I looked at possible births in the Leicestershire area... and there is only 2 from what I could see 1948 and 1949. The John M Taylor was 1949 and was in Leicestershire - the other was office Deberyshire. |

Can I ask who exactly you are looking for information on? Is it The parents of John A. Taylor born 1933 (in which case it is NOT the Charles born 1913 but probably the Charles W. Taylor born 1906. |

Emma, the Charles born to Chapman and H S Taylor in 1913 cannot be the Charles who married in 1928, to Elizabeth Green, he would be 15! |

Hi sorry I do know Charles taylors father is albert harry start taylor. I have a picture of Charles marring and his birth is definatly 1913 his mother maiden name is chapman. I a newspaper article that refers to his wife as being called Betty, but that could be short for Elizabeth? |

Yes Rose, I think this Charles W. Taylor born 1906 is much more likely to be the Charles who married Elizabeth Green and that these are the parents of John A. Taylor born 1933. |

This is the Charles born 1913 who married Evelyn, birthdate matches that 1991 death. |

Death in 1991 for the Charles born 1913 gives no middle initial |
