In my late Father's notes he wrote that Frederick A. Baker born circa 1888 lived in Kingston at the time of Queen Victoria's death.
Could someone please find him in the 1901 census please?
The notes also state his Father was Rowland Baker from Worcestershire.
Thank you Nala.

Gins..............that is great news to find him and who his mother was also.
Now I need to find out if he married and where he lived. So it is on to the next census and perhaps he may appear in the 1939 register.
cheers from Nala.

Looks like he married Elizabeth Bessie Slade. Wonder why she's called Evelyn on censuses?

Can't find a marrige to a Lily 1909-1910. The closest is this where the entry is missing a female
Marriages Sep 1910 (>99%) Baker Frederick A Luton 3b 964 <<<<< King Louie F Luton 3b 964 Smallbones Jane Luton 3b 964
Findmypast's version says FREDERICK A BAKER married one of these people LOUIE F KING, LILY CUSTANCE, JANE SMALLBONES
So Lily might be Lily Custance

Freebmd shows 4 Baker/Custance births 1911-1939.
The 1924 birth in Luton is highly likely to be their child.

Don't know, mgnv, the Rowland who married Bessie in 1888 was a bachelor, a tailor, father was Thomas, a gardener. The Roland who married in 1883 was a painter, father Roland Thomas was what looks like missionary but very hard to read.
