Have you found his birth record and look to see if he has any siblings . Checked for his parents and possible deaths for them etc

There is another marriage though, not in the same area... 1945 Leicester same qtr as birth Mavis E Sewell to Frederick Parker.

Do you have his birth cert to confirm parent's names Brenda?

If he married in the same county of Surrey there was a possible address for him in Basingstoke until 2003.
Other people then moved into the property - with it being c13 years ago, they are unlikely to know his current whereabouts.
its likely that he 'opted out' of the public ER when they moved.

Assuming the marriage is correct, they had 2 children. Unfortunately, with each having nearly 200 results, its impossible to identify if the children married or to whom!
