I don't have a sub to deceased online but have you checked the burial record for Winifred to see if they are buried together please? |

My Grandfather's 2 sisters died of diphtheria which they caught when they kissed their baby brother goodbye according to family legend. I have traced the deaths of the 2 girls ( Lottie and Winifred Dowding) and they did indeed die of diphtheria, but altho I can find Eibie William John Dowding's birth in 1887 I can find no trace of his death. If the story is true it should be in April or May 1889 in the East end of London. Any help with this search welcomed. |
