It is thought that George served in the Army during ww1 but thus far this has not been confirmed so if anyone can help in the matter would be greatly appreciated. |

Is it possible that his name was name at enlistment was entered as Lathom and not Latham. |

Thanks a million for all the assistance given. The 1901 census shows the full picture of George Arthur as a four year old with his parents. However it does open another search lane for my friend, a son of George Arthur, who celebrated his 88th birthday last week and considers this information as his best ever birthday present. But begs the question where did Coulson Latham come from and who were his parents. |
