Feeling a bit daft here as I already have a large tree but having never looked for Eng. records (all Scot / Irish! ) not having much success!
So trying to find details of Edmund Bishop c1800 from Witney Oxfordshire. Father James who had 2 wives Ann Turner (think she died c1798) and then he married Ann Johnson who had 11 children I know there is an Edmund born 1826 but not him. Or pehaps Edmund was born between marriages? Help would be so much appreciated. If Ann Turner's death can be verified that would be great. Or failing all info on how to look up the Free BMD would be helpful. Thanks :-)
Found the reords but they are after 1837 Do ou have to search the Parish records before that ? Thanks
