Going slightly cross-eyed here so some steady eyes would be appreciated.
I am looking for the details of the parents of David Spink born 1891 in Walsall, Staffordshire and died 1955 in Wakefield. He married Laura Morton in 1912 in Heckmondwike and is stated to be a miner. His father is down as John William Spink (currier)

Can't find John William on the 1901
(I think I have found David on the 1901 (FMP) on the registers of Palfrey Boys School, Walsall. His parents are named as 'Spink (Mrs Clews) John.'
Digging around a bit via the address given - 226 Sandwell St. Walsall, Mrs Clews appears to be a housekeeper.)
Cannot find a relative marriage for John William Spink and Sarah E.......?
Cannot pinpoint John William on 1911 but there is a death which would fit in that year. Mind you, David's marriage cert in 1912 doesn't state that his father is deceased.....but.........
All in all I am ready to throw my laptop through the window...............so any advice/clarification would be most welcome. Thank you.
