Could this be a marriage for Edna? Her birth gives M as a middle name.

I know it's not what you're looking for, but the CWGC site gives this hit:

HESLOP, F
Rank: Private
Service No: 56792
Date of Death: 04/11/1918
Regiment/Service: East Yorkshire Regiment 7th Bn.
Grave Reference: V. C. 16.
Cemetery: ROMERIES COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION

If you look at the attached documents, in particular, the Concentration, you'll see he was initially buried at:
Sheet 51a, X.28.c.1.9, presumably very close to where he fell.

These are standard Trench map coordinates - X.28 identifies a 1000 x 1000 yd square and the following letter identifies a quadrant, numbered as:

a b
d c

so the SE quadrant. The next two numbers, in the range 0-9, identify a 50 yd easting, then a 50yd northing, in this case pretty close to the centre of the entire X28 square.
For reference, Romieres is in W.21, so he fell abt 7000 yds E of where he's now buried.

Ancestry has a collection called:

UK, WWI War Diaries (France, Belgium and Germany), 1914-1920

which contains the war diaries of most infantry units in France/Belgium.
These unit war diaries say what each unit (e.g., 7th battalion) was doing on a day by day basis
