I am checking some finer details of the early life of Christian S Pedersen, a Norwegian sailor, born in 1843 in Brevik, Norway. I believe he may have been aboard the 'Glenmark' as a crew member when she sailed from London in October 1864, to Lytellton, Christchurch, arriving in Lytellton in January 1865. But I cannot find information about the ship's crew for that journey. I believe he left the crew after it arrived in Lytellton. Can any one help with this please? |

Just a further thought. He may have been on a ship of another name which made the same journey in 1864. The 'Glenmark' just happens t fit very well so far in his sailing career. |

Yes - that is as far as I could get. I believe she left Victoria docks in London. I know he sailed from there in 1864. |

Would this be him later, 1871? |
