Looking at some of the other transcriptions, He would appear to be indicating his status or occupation, in his case lab |

Looking again at the information I Have been given. If the age at death is correct then it is looking likely that the baptism in Wiveliscombe is looking good. |

Thanks Potty. So "He" just meant He was a labourer and nothing to do with where he came from.etc. I have also just noticed that the marriage said he was a sojourner, Which I understands means he is from somewhere else. Now all I have to do is find out where. Thomas is such a common name finding his birth place is going to be difficult especially as I do not know exactly when he was born. |
