Hannah and the 2 named above her ie William Constable and Henry Broom are a separate household from the Greens, but sharing the same dwelling as indicated by the single / on the original census form after the last named Green and Wm Constable

Normally a double // would divide one dwelling from another but it appears that on this census just a single / has been used in the "inhabited"column. And another single / but placed differently to denote the division between one household and the next within a dwelling.

Do you know if East is her married or maiden name?

Thanks to all who answered. The advice about the separation between families even living at the same address was very helpful.
Not sure if Hannah's maiden name is East or something else. I assumed that she married but it needs more research.
