Thank you for that malyon - I hadn't noticed that. I will confer with a ik family member if their Leslie actually worked for the post office because if not, then that cancels out Leslie still being in uk in 1954. Thanks again. |

Thank you Detective. I will have a good lopok at the information you have put up. Sorry for the delay but for the last hour or so I have been battling with Aviva trying to sort out some matters with them. Not the easiest company to deal with from the orgasnisation point of view !! |

Chris Ho - thank you for that. On this basis I tried the ryerson index for wife Beatrice and found a Beatrice Adelaide Reddick - death notice 2000 in the same newspaper 'Herald Sun' Melbourne. So looks as if they emigrated to the Melbourne area. I wonder if they had any children out there ? |

Thank you Dea That narrows the timescale down a bit. Interesting though that although marrying in 1946 they had no children in uk by 1954. |

Looks like he was still in the UK in 1954 (if this is the same one?): |

They aren't showing on any passenger lists . Maybe they didn't emigrate by sea |

Hi - I have Leslie Reddick born 1921 Coventry, the son of Robert and Lily Reddick. Leslie married a Beatrice Manning in 1946, Kettering, Northants. They had no children in the UK and emigrated to Australia. Unfortunately this is all I have. I do not know what year they emigrated, where they departed from and what area of Australia they went to. Any information regarding this couple would be very welcome. Thank you |
