Hi, stuck again...
I am trying to research Hannah French, born C 1818. I know she married James Pickering in 1840 Jun quarter vol 23 pg 13. James died in 1845, but Hannah had more children all given the surname Pickering.
I have a possibility Hannah French Christened 16 Jan 1821, parents John and Mary. But I can't connect a family or a marriage for John and Mary.
Can anyone help. I will order a marriage certificate, but I am inpatient....
Thank you
Lynn

Well any children she later had would be called Pickering as that was still her surname even though she was a widow

That is them....Thank you every one...this takes me ful circle....My dad has Alzheimer's and one thing that bothers him is he didn't belong to his family, and didn't know the family he belonged to. Now I know they were all connected...he won't remember but I will let him know....this is so strange :-D
