I have a John Kelly married to a Florence Maud Spiller in 1904 they had a far as I can see 3 sons John worked as a labourer in the rubber trade in 1911 they live at 85 Wilmott St Hulme Manchester

could some one see if they are in the 1939 census please

With such common names, even a year of birth would help to narrow the search.

Tried searching with just Florence and the DOB that Andrew has given but no luck sorry.

Have you taken Year of Birth from census records - they aren't necessarily accurate as you know. And what we need is the actual DOB

This looks like her birth registration, although it could mean born from mid November 1881 onwards as there was 6 weeks to register a birth

I've got DoB 1882 both Manchester
Just checked Manchester burials it would seem that John died before Florence as I found the grave reference Florence died 21 /11 /1928 john 3/10/1923

Age at death for John was 41 so both the ages fit !

Not that it matters now as you've found the deaths but 1882 is not a Date of Birth, it's only a Year of Birth. The 1939 Register can be searched by inputting a DOB, which is far more accurate than just the year.

They married 1880 at Holy Trinity Hulme.
He was a Dublin man born18 Oct.1850 and Baptised 31st Dec 1850 at St Peters CI Dublin
Parents John and Marie Spiller 11 Charlemont St Dublin. Father's occup.Clerk

Born to John H and Alice. Baptised Holy Trinity 1888.
