Yes it ties in. After all this time, I have today been contacted on FB by Ada's grandson who lives in Alabama.

If it's not too cheeky, I have a feeling that Annie might also have gone to America. My mum always said that was the case with two of her half sisters. Would you be so kind as to see if you can see her upon the passenger lists?
