Margaret....yes, the relative I heard from today referred to her as Adeline but knows she was born as plain old Ada!

Thank you all so much. It was such a long time ago that I was looking into all this and all these years later, I think I've gone a bit gaga!
I will ask my newly found relative if he knew about Anniie. She would have been his great aunt, so might be able to fill me in about her later life.

Yes it ties in. After all this time, I have today been contacted on FB by Ada's grandson who lives in Alabama.

If it's not too cheeky, I have a feeling that Annie might also have gone to America. My mum always said that was the case with two of her half sisters. Would you be so kind as to see if you can see her upon the passenger lists?
