	The only Thomas Binnie's that I can find all seem to have been born in Scotland. I wonder if the names of the children might help ....... ie, if Thomas and Johanna used a naming pattern. I've found 3 of the births on FindMyPast .. I am looking for her birth around 1790 in Dartmouth, Devon, and her first marriage to Thomas Binnie, master mariner. On Familysearchorg. there is the birth of four children between 1813 and 1819 in Portsea, Hampshire. On 20th October, 1833, in Portsmouth, Hampshire, she marries William Foay, some years her junior. Their daughter Eliza is born about 1834 in Portsea, Hampshire. After much searching I have found her on the 1841, 1851 and 1861. The 1851 and 1861 gives her birthplace as Dartmouth. On the 1841 her daughter Jane Binnie is with her so I know I have the right family. The "master mariner" for her first husband comes from the marriage certificates of Ann Caroline and Emma two of her daughters. Any help with tracing her birth, first marriage and information on Thomas Binnie would be very much appreciated. Thank you Jackie
