Find Ancestors

Hi,Looking for relatives on my mothers side her maiden name is Norrie.Her father was Walter H G Norrie born in Sheffield 1/09/1911 died 1945 in mining accident Montague colliery Elswick Newcastle upon Tyne he married my Nan Beatrice Lisle 16/09/1939 in Barnet Middlesex i do know he had brothers Thomas & Alec and his Father was James Norrie & Mother Mona Hay both Scottish i believe.I would also like to find where in Newcastle he (walter)was buried if anyone would know where to find such info.

Thank you safc that is great as James and Elizabeth are my Grandad's siblings.A little odd fact i googled Mona's address of Ardwick rd and the connecting road is Muswell Hill (Newcastle) and i live in an area of North London called Muswell Hill! Too Spooky!

These are from The Evening Chronicle (Newcastle) June 12th and June 21st 1945.

Death.
Norrie. Walter Henry aged 32 of 32 Clumber St. Scotswood on June 11th husband of Beatrice.
Interment Elswick on Thursday leaving house 2.30pm at Cemetery 3pm.

Thursday June 21st.
Inquest held into Death of Miner WHG Norrie aged 32yrs. (stoneman) at Caroline Pit Denton Burn June 11th 1945.
He was killed instantaneously by a fall of rock about a ton in weight.
Verdict of Accidental Death.

On the Durham Mining Museum site his name has been mis-spelled as Norris.
