The 1839 marriage certificate should hopefully give you his Father's name. Clarke with an E here, also Anne with an E. |

Witnesses on the Marriage Certificate dated May 20th 1839 at Wigton, Cumberland were George Studholme, and Sarah Armstrong. No idea who these people were, and whether they were relatives of either party, or friends?? |

If you go in search on the top line, righthand side a menu will come up. Click on search all members trees and two people will pop up with a Thomas Clark born 1815. Yorkshire. Might not be him but it's worth a try. |
