Well born 1916 he could well have married before 1939 so wouldnt be with his parents

When did he marry . That would be the best cert for his dads name

Thankyou everyone this has filled in many queries.i am trying to find the full name of Joshua's son George A Southern. Two George's born June qu.1916 Sunderland.?. .both to southern / Percy parents. Need to know I which one Is George Alexander Southern.sothat I can follow family. Other family is Frederick and Margaret. Thought it was them until I found Joshua. Hope they're not both .Alexander. Our George married Betty West in 1944 in Plymouth.
