PERRY Ralph LOUGHLIN Marion Prestwich Registrar Attended 1903

I am trying to find information on Ralph Perry (Dob approx 1880) he was my grandmother’s father, her name was Gladys Perry and she was born on the 13th of September 1904.The only info I have on Ralph Perry is that he is listed on my grandmother’s marriage certificate in 1926 at All Saints Church in Manchester. His occupation is listed as Labourer and lived at 79 Higher Ormond street Manchester. My grandmother said he also had something to do with the Sea (not sure if he was in the Royal Navy or the Merchant Navy) but I have not been able to find any info about him in any census records or war records.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
