Searching Devon Burials on FMP doesn't bring any result for him, but maybe not all burials are on their database. |

From a Google search, that's the only Townstal Cemetery which comes up - and there's not a lot about it. It appears not to be in use any more. |

have a copy of a newspaper cutting i think from our local paper in south wales.it is an obituary of james who had connections up here. it goes on to say that he was given the board of trade medal for his part in the rescue of sailors on the shipwrecked bay of panama in 1891.and says he was interred in townstal churchyard.maybe thers more than one graveyard? |
