The above brothers appear on both the 1901 and 1911 with their parents Harold & Alice Mary Whitham nee Haworth. Alan was born in Rawtenstall and by the time Denis was born the family had moved to Urmston Manchester. |

When Alice Mary died 30 Oct1945 (still at same address) probate was granted to Alan Witham - master printer, so maybe it was a mis transcription on his fathers probate (painter?) |

I use this site - Probate was granted in 1946, it's always best to try the year after a late death. |
