Not seeing births for the girls ,maybe they are Margaret's children by her first marriage |

I think I've just found a death for Mary in 1922 so maybe Nancy was hers. Someone has a tree with her birth as 1891 but does not have Nancy or Ellen. I'm wondering if they were Margaret's and had their names changed to Scanlon when she married Daniel. They are definitely Scanlon in 1939. If Mary did die in 1922 this would be after Nancy's birth. I'm considering the fact that they may not have married at all. |

That looks like it, Dea and Shirley. I assumed James and Harrison were married names because one has a date next to it, although it's illegible. I found that too, Andrew and that's what started the confusion. Thank you all for looking. |

That looks very much like it, Shirley. I wish I'd asked for help sooner now. |

I doubt they were married too, Shirley. Also, the 1891 birth for Mary isn't correct. The 1881 census has her there at two years of age and I know the parents there are hers - John and Catherine Meade (nee Nagle), both born in Ireland. She was Mary Ann, not Agnes. The 1879 birth date does not tie in with the 1922 death record, though, which gives her age at death at 31. Curiouser and curiouser. |

If this is the correct Thomas Milsom, it looks like Margaret wasn't his first wife. The record is very feint and difficult, if not impossible, to read. |

Everything points to Daniel being married to Mary Agnes (daughter of John & Bridget) b c 1891 not Mary Ann b. c1879 .................. |
