Find Ancestors

Am looking for Charles Alexander (Born as Charles Forbes 1877 in London).

Mother remarried to David Alexander (Hence name change).

Married Elizabeth Broomfield 1903 in Gateshead and had 2 daughter - Mary 1905 & Doris 1909. Both born Gateshead area.

Would like to find them all in 1939.

I believe Charles may have died c1944/45? I don't know what happened to the rest of them.

I have a death ref for 1945 but have yet to chase this up, so not 100% on the death.

Just trying to find him in 1939 with his wife & hopefully 2 daughters......

I didn't know he became a Mason! Where did you find that one? Where can I find more on this Masonic link??

So, Born Forbes, became Alexander on mother's re-marriage and he married as Alexander.

Shirley, I think the 1931 marriage of Mary looks promising.
