This was the starting point

A different version, Kent Marriages, says his residence was Hull.
If he was actually born in Hull, this could be his birth
Ambrose Parker Registration Year: 1889 Registration Quarter: Jul-Aug-Sep Registration district: Sculcoates Inferred County: Yorkshire East Riding Volume: 9d Page: 189
Although there are a couple of census with family in Sculcoates, there's no concrete evidence after 1911. Can't find either him or Marjorie in the 1939.
Marjorie's dob taken from her death reg (1976) in Sittingbourne, Kent, was 14 Apr 1897. Her probate is on line but it too recent for executors to be named.
I know Marjorie's ancestors - its her husband who is the problem!

Thank you. That’s a great help.
Majorie Alice (Banner) Parker qualified as an Assistant Nurse in 1947. Her 1948 address is given as Sittingbourne.
As that would have been rather unusual for a married woman in her 40’s, perhaps the marriage didn’t work out.

there don't seem to be children born to the marriage
