Maybe Cathy, but they are calming, friendly waves, and from some of the postings in your thread its obvious your tip has helped some GR members, and perhaps a lot more who hasn't posted on here. :-))

Did you not READ Cathys first posting on this thread ??

The point is ---This is the "TIPS BOARD" and as so many new GR members don't know how to get back to their threads --I think Cathys tip needs to stay near the top of tips board,

I don't think a friendly "Wave" hurts anyone to keep this tip up the board. ---and beats the sarcastic remarks made on some threads, which scares a lot of members (new or old) not to post if they need help, in case they are made to feel "silly" or "stupid" or worse !!! (being a member of GR since 2003 I have seen plenty of those remarks !!)

To be honest, InspectorGreenPen , I don't see your "problem" with this thread, unless it seems too friendly for you !!!

hi my name is vanessa . i hope someone can help me as im at a complete loss as what too do next. im trying to find my grandmothers mother and my grandads mum .
my nans name is Dorothy Beatrice Jones nee york born 1921 Northampton died around 1984.
my grandads name Eric Sydney Jones born 20/07/1914 Wales . died Northampton around 1970 - 1980.
i really do hope some one can help as im pulling my hair out
