I have been trying to find a birth/death/marriage for the following person but to no avail.
I have looked on other sites but nothing.
The only trace of this person is with her household on the 1871 census.age 2

If you type Frederick Downie b 1863 and look at 1871 census she is there with her parents and siblings.

I have been researching this part of my grandmothers family for ages and thought i would try to fill in some gaps, so i do have a good history.

This is a big part of the tree as there were 2 marriages and many children. Betsey was the last child of the 2nd marriage.

But try as i might with different variations of betsey/Betty/Elizabeth, i simply cannot find any birth, death or marriage anywhere. The family were all from Heaton, Norris, stockport area etc.

If anyone has a bit of spare time to have a search, I would be greatful.

Probably a granddaughter rather than their own child.

Yes thankyou ladies. I think you are correct. I have now found her on other census and she died in 1893 aged 24.

Never crossed my mind that she was a grandaughter. Next time, I shall think like that for future ones i cannot find.

Yes 1865 he married her.sometimes the prophet is mispelt prophet but the record is on here.
