morning all very cold here no snow over night
young folk have no stamina at all , my legs and ankles are very sore from walking in the snow yesterday ,

pinch the crown throne put the logs on fire lol it wriggled its a boakin ,we are off

Poor Boakin,you are cruel Maz send for the fire brigade to put it out. Best get some cold water on TG to cool her down from the sight of the firemen LOL. Don't need the crown just my wooly hat it's warmer.
No more snow here yet fingers crossed it stays like that LOL

TG top granny now lol we are just frozen solid here but its bteeer than yesterday the youth is cancelled too tonite ,Son is going to get too used to this as he gets his tea every night at the moment lol
Boa kin is fine make a nice scarf with its jumper shame its red and white

LOL Maz, I am going to venture out over to Hailey's later as long as we have no more white stuff. The sun is trying to poke through so hopefully it will thaw a bit. The roads seem reasonably good at the mo.

Local schools are open at the moment, but there are a lot of youths wandering around. Been out this morning - down into the valley and up the other side. Roads gritted but a bit of slush cos it's just snowed again. And what type of vehicle got stuck? A 4 wheel drive - lol!!!!!!!

just done the shop everyone was in lol ,managed to get a taxi back ok ,
not moving out now again til tomorrow

Welcome back to the warmth Maz. We went shopping this afternoon as well....the cupboards were getting a bit bare, and the supermarket shelves not so good either!

lol its a sheet of ice outside already again it was quite nice earlier

My window cleaner has just been, he must be mad, don't know how his water didn't freeze. Icicles like daggers were hanging from my gutters above his head, but it didn't seem to bother him.

Good grief Pauline! I suppose he needs the income. If he can get to you, does this mean you can get the offspring out?

Seeing how everyone locally goes into seige mentality round here (with not a lot to complain about) I really feel for you, YG and Pauline.

pauline he must have cabin fever for about an hour this afternoon it was pleasant almost the sun was bright and then by 3.30 it has frozen over again .son is in early again ,lol I am not used to being in at this time of day to cook he thinks its cool lol

Well it was good fun this morning! Haven't used the car since Tuesday so it was well frozen and had a huge white blanket on it!! I was wandering in and out with bowls of tepid water and as fast as I tried to thaw the windscreens, the locks froze over so I couldn't get my in the lock, let alone turn it!!

40 minutes later and with a sopping wet boots and bloomin' cold feet I set off!! Hadn't a lot of choice really as I tried phoning for a taxi at 7.15am and none were available until after 10am. I hadn't enough small change (if you can call it that at £1.95 for three stops!) and couldn't face the trauma of offering a £10 note to the bus driver!!

BUT I got there in one piece and the main roads were much clearer tonight, although the side roads are scary!!

The forecast on the BBC is reasonable for the next three days, but I'm not holding my breath!!

now the tv has been talking about a cold wind too that will be awful ,as i am on a cable end ,but there are a lot worse than me
my daughter is stuck getting to clients in stoke ,but she should get out tomorrow ,I hope
my mum has hardly any but its slippy and she has run out of sweets lol so she wants to get into the village but the buses are off due to all the hills
