Happy Birthday Canada for tomorrow .I bet all my rellies there will be celebrating,and having shindigs.I would love to live in Canada.I had just the best time when I went .I loved the people ,the life and just everything.
I would be there in a flash if I had no family here.

Oh Heck David that sounds a bit technical lol.I do recall the Crank Shaft but what it was and did I have no idea.I know I gave my tights up once to my boyfriend who's fan belt went .I think we were on the way to a Football match that he was playing in.Those were the days lol

Still hot here I have just come in from shutting the chickens up for the night.

I turned the pump off tonight so no mare water in the pond till tomorrow. The bottom bit is full of water though. A few sparse spots of fine rain when I went out earlier. Chicks been out in the run on the ark but when I go towards them they all run back in the house, mum too!! I will try and get them tomorrow. Did'nt have time to take pics tonight so hope he has'nt done much more by the time I get up in the morning. He is usually out there about 6.30am.

We have a breeze!!!!!!!!! It's quite pleasant at the moment.
James got his second year results at Uni and he has done really well .One more year to go.I think I will attack a few more weeds while I can.

Oh dear,we have a myxy rabbit.I didn't realise until I clapped my hands to shoo it off .It ran straight into my weed bucket and then into the fence around the veg.Poor thing can't see.It has gone somewhere.

Afternoon all,
Lovely and sunny here today with a good breeze .

We had a good day yesterday ,we set off early,normally it takes about twenty minutes to get to Norwich ,there was queues of traffic and it took double the time
The price to get in was nineteen pounds each and children five and over £7-50 , the little ones loved all the animals,there was a huge Tortoise and they kept spraying it with water to keep it cool ,but it was really hot at times when the sun went behind the clouds it was better,we had a picnic in the shade under a big tree ,and then watched the Parachute team come in to lad in the Grand Ring and son and Jake watched the Bolddog Motor bike display team .
There were lots of the Members of the show that were dressed up in suits and the ladies had their big hats on ,it was like ladies day at Ascot !!
They must have been hot .
We had all had enough by about half past two ,the little ones were so tired so we came home early .
We were then out again in the evening with sister and BIL for his birthday meal ,their daughter and her daughter came too, and their both flying off to Florida today for two weeks .

Well done James for getting good results at Uni.

Been shopping with DIL this morning ,hung some washing out and thats about it ,i feel tired from yesterday !!!

Afternoon all, Jane was it a wet teashirt comp. between you and Hannah. I didn't play with the boys yesterday. I think they had gone out when I watered. I have cut the back lawn this morning, and had the sprinkler on for three hours, The lawn and flower beds look better for it already. I have cleaned out the girls, and put all new saw dust/shavings in the coop. Nice fresh water and filled up their layer pellets. They will be OK till tomorrow.

Ros to streached out in the Conservatory with the doors open, and giving it plenty of ZZZZZZ.Nice cool breeze blowing through. She's not sleeping to well at nights, her back is playing up again.

Mandy, Glad you had a good day yesterday, I noticed a family ticket was £48.00 on the news last night. Did you have to pay for the children ???? Still enough without having to pay for them !!!! It makes going out for a day very expensive, that one off the reasons Ros and I don't frequent these places, The pension won't run to it.

David, Are you sending it South. Just heard from Rutland son, they are at York, on the way to Aberdeen for a business training for six agents,. Will be there till Sunday, they were going to drive, but I said it's to far for a few days. and anyway it makes a change to go by train.

We went to B*S for their 5 item 99p breakfast this morning and I bought a few more thin tops in the sale as it is an additional 20 per cent off today and I also had a £5 off coupon. Then I went to the new farm shop I found and bought some of their own pork chops and some stuffed chicken breasts (4 large ones for £4.99). Got some fruit too and spring onions. Came home shattered and flopped and read the paper!! lol

Mel, your pond is coming on quicker than our garden. lol I have done 3 plans now and OH will soon have finished the painting so I better make my mind up as he will want to get cracking then.

Sounds like you had a good time yesterday Mandy......I usually start flagging at these things by afternoon anyway. lol I bet there were a lot of people about.

OH has been picking loganberries for me, 1 for the basin and 2 for his tum I think!! No rain here yet.

Did you see in the paper that poor chap who is never going to forget this year's world cup? His parrot has learned to mimic the vuvuzela!!!! lol

Been cloudy here and it has started to rain. OH getting the decking down but rain stopped play! He turned the pump off so the well can recoop a bit hopfully. Water has just gone over the ledge and now it will take ages to fill.

Ann my tay berries arn't ready yet! I can't even see my loganberry for brambles. I have a few cues coming in the tunnel now, not bad because I was late in getting them in, toms too. I have had brocc from the 6 new plants I put in a few weeks ago though and plenty of new potatoes. OH has gone off potatoes!!!! Typical!!!

Mandy glad you had a nice day out with the family. Did you treat yourself to anything nice?

Shirl James is doing Anthropology at Canterbury.He loves it ,thank goodness.When he left school he went to St Marys in London to do Politics and German but only lasted a Term.He was miserable there ,and I think he wasn't ready for Uni then.He came home and then spent a few months in Thailand doing voluntary work which was just the right thing for him to do.

Mandy you sound like you had a great day at the Show.They are expensive aren't they ,and I'm sure many families just couldn't afford to go.
I thought it felt a lot fresher ,but when I move around realise it is still quite muggy still.I have watered outside but I think I heard we could have a shower so didn't spend as long as usual.

Trust you Frank to think of wet T Shirts lol.Sadly not a pretty sight on me now.Maybe 30 years ago though.

I have'nt downloaded them yet. I hate sending them as they take soooooooooooooooooo long to load as they are very big pictures. I have taken some on my old camera but I can't download them as pooter dos'nt recognise the camera since OH put his one on here. Must go and take some more.

I am having a day when I don't want to do anything. Do you know what I mean? I have been up and got more screws for the decking and got the dinner on, stew tonight as it's turned a bit cold here. We had a nasty cold breezy wind here this morning.
