People did move around quite a lot at that period in time. I have found female relatives all over the country on the 1939 register - usually working, although "your" Ellen was perhaps a little older than the relatives I found. |

I have found a possible death for Ellen Jackson - Dec 1948 Ashton under Lyne aged 74 years, and another for December 1949, aged 75 years. |
