We do have some laughs here Sheila.I think it is great that we all get along nicely .I remember the day Mel put up this thread ,and I thought ooh I like the sound of this.So I have been here since day one lol.
I hope your car will be ok Sheila, and that you get your new computer.

Warm and sunny eh Shirl?Lucky you. It's blowing here and although the heavy rain has gone it is bl**dy miserable. The only good thing about this weather is it means I actually get some housework done!
I will not be venturing into my jungle today,I think I would sink in the soil, and get soaked. So no beans today.I think it will be pasta and sauce, green salad and tear and share garlic bread.

Congrats to dau no 2 Fiona. See she could do it.

Been raining here just as I went ot Holsworthy. On entering the town It poured with rain. Went to library and then got chicken corn and came straight back. Got a iceberg lettuce too so we are having lamb kebabs tonight with loads of salad. Mum won't eat those but I have something for her that she may like in the freezer.

Took 2 KG of victoria plums down the local shop on the way out to see if he can shift some for me. The branches on the trees are hanging on the ground with the weight of the plums.

I am going now to examine the car we are having it towed to a garage tomorrow my years been ..awful.................. Mandy what a shame you cannot use your lovely pool it is nice to
have something like that . hope Toby is ok now. I loved faggots years ago but today you never know what is in them.I can remember faggot and peas restaurants at the back of Brum it is my daughters birthday at the week end and she is having an interview for a job in London next
Wednesday and the head office at Canary Wharf as just sent her a huge paper to do beforehand on some subject shes never heard of and so the poor girls got to study that
and so will not do much celebrating on her birthday. You think they would have sent it before but she said thats how solicitors get the brief a few days before and have to be ready .

Well going now thanks for putting up with all my mails
passed some time away a bit down today and it is so cold.
Have a nice day tomorrow nite everyone.

Don't think i would like to put Hairspray on Toby Shirl, might not do his skin any good,i think we could do without another vets bill lol

And poor old Chester's already itchy now !! lol

Jane

Jane Report 26 Aug 2010 20:17

I couldn't dare put hairspray on Chester Shirl!!!!!!!! As Mandy says he is itchy as it is .He would be demented if I sprayed any kind of chemicals on him lol.I will just do the brushing. He might look like a punk rocker with hairspray on lol

Thanks for the e-mails Frank.......I've gone right off doughnuts now.

I bet your daughter is so chuffed Fiona.....such good news for her after those wobbly moments.

The wind has blown some of my pots over and the hole where the old bog pond was has filled up again. It never even got boggy when there was a plastic liner in it.

Maureen are you doing 3 gardens now?? Yours, your mum's and now helping sort out your sons?

Fiona

Fiona Report 26 Aug 2010 20:41

Thanks everyone for your congratulations, yes she is well chuffed don't think she could believe it if it had not been written there in black & white, cuddles all around there was not a dry eye in the house(well not from the boyfriend of course)off she went to phone her dad , more tears, I then gave her a well done card which I have had in the house for ages.

She text her friends and I was texting mine. mobile phones were ringing and coming back with messages from different friends and relatives.
I expect we will probably go out for a meal to celebrate at the weekend.
